Russian Emergencies Ministry’s convoy delivers humanitarian aid to Donbas

More than 100 trucks delivered more than 1,200 tons of humanitarian aid, mostly food and medicine

MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. Russian Emergencies Ministry’s convoys have delivered humanitarian aid to Donbas, the ministry’s press service told TASS on Thursday.

"All trucks with humanitarian aid have arrived in Lugansk and Donetsk. They are currently being unloaded at storehouses," the press service said adding that no incidents occurred during the trip.

More than 100 trucks delivered more than 1,200 tons of humanitarian aid to Donbas today, mostly food and medicine.

After unloading, the trucks will leave Donetsk and Lugansk and head back for Russia.

This is the 39th Russian Emergencies Ministry’s convoy with humanitarian aid for Donbass. Since August 2014, more than 46,000 tons of humanitarian aid has been delivered to Donetsk and Lugansk.
