Russia, EU maintain migration-related dialogue — diplomat

Russia’s Permanent Representative at the European Union noted that the "tool is underused"

MOSCOW, September 21. /TASS/. Russia and the European Union maintain dialogue on migration problems but this resource is not used to the full extent, Russia’s Permanent Representative at the European Union Vladimir Chizhov said on Monday.

"As for migration, this problem is familiar to Russia. Due to its geography, history and many other circumstances, Russia is a country of exodus, transit and target for migration flows," he said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 television channel. "That is why, we have experience and we are ready to share it. We maintain migration dialogue with the European Union, but this dialogue is obviously underused."
