The convoy of more than 100 trucks has delivered over 1,200 tons of humanitarian aid

MOSCOW, September 17. /TASS/. Russia’s 38th convoy has delivered humanitarian aid to Luhansk and Donetsk in eastern Ukraine, the Emergencies Ministry’s press service told TASS on Thursday.

"The trucks have brought to Luhansk and Donetsk foodstuffs, essentials and medicines," a ministry official said.

The convoy of more than 100 trucks has delivered over 1,200 tons of humanitarian aid. The effort to unload the cargos is currently underway.

The vehicles will later form the convoy again and leave for the Rostov region, in southern Russia.

Since August 2014, Russia has delivered more than 45,000 tons of humanitarian cargos to Ukraine’s embattled Donbas region.
