MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. A visit by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to Russia is in the works and final dates are being coordinated, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Earlier, Maduro said that he would visit Russia soon and expressed solidarity with Russian people and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Yes, [the visit] is in the works. Indeed, there is a high degree of preparedness for the visit. The final coordination of dates [is underway] to fit both Mr. Maduro and Putin’s schedules," the Kremlin official said.
