The final results of voting in the Russian presidential election

A total voter turnout across the country was 77.49%

Russia’s first ever three-day election for head of state, held on March 15-17, concluded on Sunday.

Self-nominated candidate and incumbent President Vladimir Putin garnered 87.28% of the vote. Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) nominee Nikolay Kharitonov finished second with 4.31% of the vote, followed by New People party candidate Vladislav Davankov with 3.85% and Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) nominee Leonid Slutsky with 3.2%.

According to the final results from the Central Election Commission (CEC), a total voter turnout across the country was 77.49%. See TASS Infographics for details about the results of voting.
