Agreement to open Romanian Consulate General in Rostov-on-Don axed

The Russian Foreign Ministry was instructed to notify the Romanian side of the decision

MOSCOW, December 11. /TASS/. The Russian government has accepted the Russian Foreign Ministry's proposal to denounce the agreement on the opening of the Romanian consulate general in Rostov-on-Don, with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signing the relevant order.

"In accordance with Article 37 of the Federal Law On International Treaties of the Russian Federation to accept the proposal of the Russian Foreign Ministry on the denunciation of the agreement between the Russian and Romanian governments on the opening of the Consulate General of Romania in Rostov-on-Don from September 22, 2005, concluded in the form of an exchange of notes," reads the document published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

The Russian Foreign Ministry was instructed to notify the Romanian side of the decision.
