Non-issuance of visas to Russian delegates aimed at hampering its work at UNESCO — mission

"We view Paris’ unfriendly moves as an intention to seriously complicate the work of the Russian delegation, led by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin," the mission said

PARIS, November 8. /TASS/. France’s decision not to issue visas to two members of the Russian delegation to the 42nd UNESCO Genral Conference is viewed by the Russian permanent mission to UNESCO as a deliberate attempt to hamper Russia’s work at the forum, the mission has told TASS.

"We view Paris’ unfriendly moves as an intention to seriously complicate the work of the Russian delegation, led by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin," the mission said.
