"More than 6,000 guests visited the cultural and educational festival Africa. Together into the Future, which was held in St. Petersburg and in Moscow on July 25-30," the news release reads.

The guests of the festival were shown 18 films representing different African countries. Free screenings in St. Petersburg were held at the Lenfilm Film Center and the Aurora Cinema, and in Moscow - at the Illuzion Cinema.

In addition, during the festival Lenfilm hosted a group photo exhibition entitled African Dream, which united photographers of different generations and genres. The event also included open lectures, public talks and round table discussions.
