MOSCOW, May 17. /TASS/. Russia will judge US calls to normalize relations by Washington’s direct actions, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference on Monday.

"We will treat US calls to normalize the relations not according to their words, there had been too many of them already, but according to specific actions," he said.

"By the way, I did mention this to the Secretary of State when we spoke on the phone recently. As far as I understood, he has the same approach. We would like to look at those spheres of bilateral relations, international life, where our interests may coincide and where we can seek a balance of interests on the basis of equality and mutual respect," the top diplomat added.
