Russia’s Lavrov to hold talks with Swedish foreign minister on February 2

MOSCOW, January 21. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold talks with Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde on February 2 in Moscow to discuss the situation in northern Europe and the Arctic dialogue, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said during Thursday’s briefing.

"On February 2 in Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold talks with the Swedish Foreign Minister, who will be in Russia on a visit as the current OSCE chairperson-in-office," the diplomat said.

According to the spokeswoman, the foreign ministers will discuss the wide range of issues related to OSCE activity, as well as the situation in the sphere of security in the area of the Baltic Sea and in northern Europe, Arctic cooperation and current matters of bilateral cooperation.
