MOSCOW, April 24. /TASS/. Russia urges to assume efforts to create a global UN-sponsored anti-terrorist front, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at the opening of the Eighth Moscow Conference on International Security on Wednesday.
"We reiterate that it is necessary to assume genuine, non-biased, coordinated efforts free of double standards in line with the known initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin to form a universal UN-sponsored anti-terrorist front," he said.
Lavrov believes that today’s leading world centers should combine efforts for the sake of an efficient struggle against threats common for all of mankind, first of all global terrorism, instead of competing with each other.
