Russian lawmakers may visit North Korea on April 12-16

The delegation will include members of all factions

MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. A delegation of Russian State Duma (the lower house of parliament) members may visit North Korea on April 12-16, Duma Deputy Speaker Ivan Melnikov told reporters on Wednesday.

"A delegation is being formed, it will include members of all factions and I don’t rule out that [head of the United Russia faction] Sergei Neverov will lead it," he said. "The invitation covers the period from April 11 to 19 but we expect the visit to take place on April 12-16 because the Duma will hear a report on the government’s activities on April 17," he added.
