Putin, Lukashenko discuss Russian-Belarusian cooperation — Kremlin

MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko have held telephone conversation to discuss topical aspects of bilateral cooperation with the focus on further development in the format of the Union State of Russia and Belarus, the Kremlin press service said on Tuesday.

"The two sides also discussed processes of integration in the Eurasian Economic Union format," the press service said.

Putin and Lukashenko maintain regular dialog not only by phone. In February 2019, the two heads of state held the three-day series of talks in Sochi. Back in December 2018, Putin and Lukashenko several times met for talks in Moscow.
