Moscow rejects allegations about meetings between Russian, US delegation members in Munich

There were no contacts between the Russian and US delegations during the Munich Security Conference, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote on Facebook, rejecting Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko’s allegations about meetings between members of the Russian and US delegations.

"There were no plans to meet with US delegation members and any US representatives, no meetings were requested, confirmed or cancelled," she said.

The Russian delegation to the Munich Security Conference was led by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and particularly involved Deputy Foreign Ministers Sergei Ryabkov and Sergei Vershinin.
