Russian Security Council secretary to meet with UAE collegaues in Abu Dhabi

MOSCOW, January 31. /TASS/. Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev will visit Abu Dhabi on Thursday to discuss with his colleagues cooperation between Russia and the United Arab Emirates in the sphere of security.

The press service of the Russian Security Council said that Patrushev will hold meetings "devoted to cooperation between the security councils of Russia and the United Arab Emirates."

Before his visit to the UAE, Patrushev held consultations on security in Cairo. There he discussed with his Egyptian colleagues the issues of ensuring safety at charter flights to Egyptian resorts, fighting against terrorism and extremism, the problem of "color revolutions", regulating the activities of non-governmental organizations, as well as other topics.

The Russian Security Council secretary also held a separate meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
