Abe’s visit to Russia may take place in early 2019, says Kremlin

According to the Kremlin spokesman, the visit could take place at the beginning of next year

MOSCOW, December 10. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will maintain high dynamics of their contacts in 2019, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has told reporters.

"It is safe to say that [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and Japanese Prime Minister [Shinzo Abe] will maintain high dynamics of their contacts next year," Peskov said.

When asked whether Abe’s visit to Russia could take place at the beginning of next year, he answered in the affirmative.
