MOSCOW, November 20. /TASS/. The Kremlin refrains from commenting on media reports that Russia has allegedly approached the United States and Israel with a proposal to mitigate the anti-Iranian sanctions in exchange for the withdrawal of Iranian forces from Syria, Russian president’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.

"No comment," he told TASS when asked whether this topic had ever been raised.

"We don’t comment on the subject matter of closed-door talks with heads of other states," he stressed.

Earlier, US news portal Axios said citing Knesset lawmakers that Russia had allegedly approached Israel and the US with such proposals.
