SINGAPORE, November 14. /TASS/. The Kremlin has suggested that the measures by the other states against Russia, imposed in violation of international law, be called limitations or restrictions instead of sanctions, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the Dozhd (TV Rain) television station.

"Sanctions is what conforms to international law," he explained. "In this case, we don’t recognize those unilateral restrictions [of the West on Russia] as legitimate sanctions because we deem them to be illegal." "So it will probably be more correct to say "limitations" or "restrictions", but not sanctions," the Kremlin Spokesman pointed out.
