Putin to join Post-Soviet bloc summit, attend regional forum in Kazakhstan on November 8-9

MOSCOW, November 8. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Kazakhstan on November 8-9. The Kremlin press service said that Putin will take part in the Council meeting of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member countries, hold talks with Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev and make a speech at the plenary meeting of the 15th Forum on Inter-Regional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan.

Ahead of the CSTO summit, Astana will host joint sessions of the organization's council of foreign ministers, council of defense ministers and committee of security council secretaries.

The next meeting of the CSTO Counil will bring together Putin, Nazarbayev, and the presidents of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Armenia will be represented by acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
