MOSCOW, November 7. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend a summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and a session of the Russia-Kazakhstan Interregional Cooperation Forum in Kazakhstan on November 8-9, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists.

"Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow Putin will work in Astana and Petropavlovsk in Kazakhstan. There will be a CSTO summit and a separate meeting with [Kazakhstani] President [Nursultan] Nazarbayev, followed by a plenary session of the Russia-Kazakhstan Interregional Cooperation Forum," the Kremlin spokesman reported.

This forum "is a long-standing format which proved effective and showed that regional representatives are greatly interested in it," Peskov said. On Tuesday, the Russian president discussed the preparations for the CSTO summit with the constant members of the Russian Security Council.
