MOSCOW, October 29. /TASS/. Russia and Portugal are prepared for a dialogue over cybersecurity and the first steps have already been taken along these lines, Russia’s ambassador to Portugal Mikhail Kamynin told TASS in an interview on Monday.
"It is one of the most promising themes we would like to and will work on with our partners," Kamynin said. "Certain reserves have been built up and the first steps taken for establishing regular bilateral contacts. It is very important that the interest in this dialogue is mutual."
Kamynin is certain that on this basis it will be possible to establish effective cooperation meeting the interests of Russia and Portugal and the international community in general.
"As local mass media said in October, Portugal’s football club Benfica asked Russian cyber specialists for assistance in investigating a leak of confidential information from internal electronic correspondence," Kamynin said.
