Putin arrives in Khanty-Mansyisk to chair meeting of council on interethnic relations

The meeting will focus of the issues of the state national policy, demography, and additional measures to protect native languages of ethnic groups

KHANTY-MANSYISK, October 26. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived on a working trip to Khanty-Mansyisk, north of Western Siberia, the Kremlin press service said on Friday.

During his stay in the city, the president will chair a meeting of the council on interethnic relations that will focus of the issues of the state national policy, demography, and additional measures to protect native languages of Russian ethnic groups. Apart from that, Putin will visit the Museum of Nature and Man, the oldest museum in the Khanty-Mansi autonomous area.
