MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has demanded that the Russian Guards should put forward proposals for stricter gun control legislation.

"As part of your capacity, you must promptly prevent any breaches of public order. I draw your special attention to the need for tightening control of firearms legislation. I am waiting for your concrete proposals, especially legislative ones," Putin said at a meeting with senior officers and prosecutors on the occasion of their appointment to top positions and promotions to higher rank.
