MOSCOW, July 6. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has discussed his coming meeting with US President Donald Trump, domestic policy and the ongoing FIFA World Cup with permanent members of Russia’s Security Council, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.
"The meeting focused on strategic stability and security in the context of ongoing preparations for the Russia-US summit scheduled for July 16," he said.
"Also, the current Russian social and economic issues were on the agenda," Peskov said.

"The participants in the meeting could not but pay attention to tomorrow’s match of the Russia national team against the Croatia team at the soccer World Cup," Peskov added. "They unanimously wished success to the Russian footballers."
The Security Council’s meeting was attended by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Parliamentary Speakers Valentina Matviyenko and Vyacheslav Volodin, Kremlin Chief Of Staff Anton Vaino, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Federal Security Service (FSB) Director Alexander Bortnikov, Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Head Sergei Naryshkin, and Special Presidential Representative for Environmental Protection, Ecology and Transport Sergei Ivanov.
