MP hails active development of Russian-Mexican relations at parliamentary level

The State Duma speaker comments on relations between Russia and Mexico

MOSCOW, May 17. /TASS/. Relations between Russia and Mexico are actively developing through both the upper and lower chambers of the countries, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said at a meeting with President of the Senate of Mexico Ernesto Javier Cordero Arroyo on Thursday.

"Relations between our countries are becoming dynamic and developing. We are glad that they are developing at the level of two chambers: the upper and the lower," he said, thanking his Mexican counterpart for the contribution to this development.

"A State Duma delegation headed by State Duma Deputy Speaker OIga Yepifanova will visit Mexico soon," Volodin said, adding that he wishes to further consistently build cooperation with the Mexican parliament.
