MOSCOW, February 05, 6:33 /ITAR-TASS/. The government of the Russian Federation intends to allocate over 500 million roubles to the regions in subsidies to encourage the best teachers and support the most successful measures for the socialization of children. This matter will be considered at a session of the Cabinet of Ministers, a government press service official said.
Thus, 200 million roubles are tobe referred to the budgets of the constituent entities of the RF for the payment of money allowances to the best teachers for 2014. Such allowances will "stimulate teaching and educational activities of teachers and promote the development of their creative and professional potential," Cabinet analysts believe.
Besdies, almost 340 million roubles will be allocated from the Federal center to those regions which approach most effectively the accomplishment of tasks for the socialization of children. A list of regions is determined through an annual competitive selection, the Cabinet official recalled. In 2014, subsidies will be provided for 34 constitutent entities of the RF.
