Russian, British prime ministers meet in Davos

DAVOS, January 24 (Itar-Tass) — Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev met with his British counterpart David Cameron on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos on Thursday.

The meeting was held at the residence of the Russian prime minister. First deputy chief of staff of the Russian government Sergei Prikhodko, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Titov, and Deputy Minister of Economic Development Sergei Belyakov took part.

The British delegation included Downing Street Chief of Staff Edward Llewellyn, senior adviser to Prime Minister David Cameron on European Affairs Ivan Rogers, foreign affairs adviser Keith Joseph and economic adviser Clare Lombardelli.

The last meeting of the two prime ministers took place in London in July 2012.
