Russia's Gazprom to invest over $250 mln into construction of wells on Kirinskoe Field

MOSCOW, January 28. /TASS/. Gazprom will invest 19.5 bln rubles ($255.1 mln) into construction of producing wells on Kirinskoe offshore field in Sakhalin Region, the Russian gas holding said on Thursday.

"Gazprom invested over 260 bln rubles ($3.4 bln) into development of gas production and transportation facilities in the region in 2010-2015. Funds were allocated in particular for construction of infrastructure and commissioning of Kirinskoe Field. This is the first Russian offshore field where production is performed using a subsea producing system, without platforms and other surface structures. Gazprom’s investments in the Sakhalin Region are planned in the amount of about 19.5 bln rubles ($255.1 mln). Funds are mainly intended to continue construction of producing wells on the Kirinskoe Field," Gazprom said.
