MOSCOW, August 26. /TASS/. The Moscow Region governor, Andrey Vorobyov, has ordered local officials to start the search for the Kremlin Christmas tree with four months left until the New Year, his press service said on Wednesday.
The search for the fir tree that will decorate the Cathedral Square of the Moscow Kremlin in late December and early January will be conducted "from the space and on the ground," the press service said.
At first, some 50 trees will be examined and five will be put on the shortlist.
