Tchaikovsky Competition unaffected by Moscow Conservatory fire

The conservatory's Great Hall, the competition's venue, was not damaged by the fire that left no one injured

MOSCOW, June 30. /TASS/. The fire that broke out at the Moscow State Conservatory last night will not affect the programme of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition, its spokesperson said on Tuesday.

"All events will be held as scheduled," Anna Kasatkina said.

The conservatory's Great Hall, the competition's venue, was not damaged by the fire that left no one injured.

The competition runs until July 3.
