MOSCOW, June 22. /TASS/. A military spacecraft will be launched on Tuesday by a Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in Russia’s northern Arkhangelsk Region, a source in the rocket and space industry told TASS on Monday.
"The launch is planned for Tuesday," the source said.
Russian Defense Ministry has not yet officially confirmed the information.
The launch will be become the first this year for Soyuz-2.1b rocket carrier and second this month for military aircraft. On June 5, Soyuz-2.1a rocket carrier was launched with a military spacecraft aboard, which became the first launch for this rocket since the crash of the Progress M-27M cargo spacecraft.
