MOSCOW, June 8. /TASS/. The Mission Control Centre outside Moscow has performed a dodging maneuver to avoid the International Space Station’s (ISS) collision with space junk, a spokesman for the Mission Control Centre told TASS on Monday.

"The maneuver was done by switching on the engines of the Russian Progress M-26M cargo ship for a time span of 322 seconds (slightly more than five minutes) to give the ISS an impetus of 0.3 metres per second" the spokesman said.
