SOCHI, June 8. /TASS/. Eisenstein in Guanajuato, a new feature by British filmmaker Peter Greenaway, will be released in Russia in autumn, the head of the Volga film distribution company said on Monday.

"We are planning to release the film in late autumn but we don't know the exact date yet," Olga Ryazantseva told TASS.

Eisenstein in Guanajuato presented at the Berlin International Film Festival in February depicts legendary Soviet film director Sergei Eisentstein's ten-day love affair with a Mexican guide Palomino.

In 1931 the Soviet director Sergei Eisenstein traveled to Guanajuato to direct his film Que viva México that was eventually abandoned.
