MOSCOW, June 1. /TASS/. Two young leopards scared residents of a housing complex in downtown Moscow, local environmentalists said on Monday.

"One of the felines was sitting on a window-sill while the second leopard jumped from the third floor and was running across the courtyard," a spokesperson for the Moscow nature protection department said.

A police spokesman told TASS that the leopard cups "were already quite strong to pose certain danger to people."

The cats were taken to a sanctuary by department inspectors, he added.
