ISS performs evasive maneuver to dodge space debris

The engines of the cargo spacecraft Progress M-26M were turned on at 08:22 Moscow time to raise the orbit by 550 metres, Mission Control said

MOSCOW, April 23. /TASS/. Russia’s Mission Control has corrected the orbit of the International Space Station to steer it clear of space debris.

"On April 23 the ISS performed an evasive maneuver to dodge fragments of a space satellite," Mission Control said.

The engines of the cargo spacecraft Progress M-26M were turned on at 08:22 Moscow time to raise the orbit by 550 metres, Mission Control said.
