Pop singer Polina Gagarina to represent Russia at Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna

She will sing a song by Swedish composers which premiere is due soon, Gagarina's producer said

MOSCOW, 10 March. /TASS/. Russian pop singer Polina Gagarina will represent Russia at the 60th Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Vienna in May, the singer's producer, Konstnatin Meladze, said in his Twitter on Tuesday. "Polina Gagarina is representing Russia at the Eurovision. She will sing a song by Swedish composers which premiere is due soon," Meladze said.

Spokeswoman for the singer Irina Boltenkova has neither confirmed nor denied the report. "Let us wait until an evening news program on Channel One," the spokeswoman told TASS Tuesday.

The news about Gagarina's participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 is expected to be announced in a news program on Channel One on Wednesday evening.
