UFA, February 5. /TASS/. Five persons died and one was injured as a minibus rammed a truck in Russia’s Republic of Bashkortostan, a spokesman for the republican police told TASS on Thursday.
The accident took place at 02:30 local time /00:30 Moscow time/ near the town of Oktybrsky on the Samara-Ufa-Chelyabinsk highway. An Iveco minibus went onto an oncoming lane to ram a Volvo truck. All the five minibus’ passengers died instantly, the driver was taken to hospital. The truck driver was not hurt.
An investigation is underway.
