KURSK, December 17. /TASS/. Matematicians from the Russian city of Kursk have developed a program capable of identifying people's keystroke patterns with an accuracy close to 100%, head of the project Leonid Kryzhevich told TASS. The program can even identify a peson withdrawing money from an ATM by his individual keystroke pattern.
The scientist sai that over 40 muscles are involved in the proccess of typing, and every person uses them in a different way and with different intensity. the program aso takes into account the time spent to find the neccesary key and the time spent pressing the keys, says Kryzhevich.
According to the scientist, it's enough to press 4-6 keys to identify a person with a 96% acciracy.
