SYDNEY, November 28. /TASS/. At least 39 people were injured and over 70,000 houses were destroyed in a severe storm that hit Australia's Brisbane.
Storm wind reaching a speed of 39 meters a second and huge hailstones broke off the work of the transport and the local parliament.
According to the meteorologists, it was the strongest hailstorm in 20 years. Insurance companies report receiving about 8,000 claims on compensation of damage.
