Moscow to get Europe's largest oceanarium in 2015

MOSCOW, October 15. /TASS/. Europe's largest oceanarium will open in Moscow in 2015, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said on Tuesday.

The new 40,000 square meter oceanarium will outbeat Aquarium Barcelona, which houses 11,000 marine animals at 15,000 square meters.

The oceanarium will be located at the VDNKh exhibition center, Sobyanin said.

He also said that Moscow authorities plan to open an interactive space museum at the VDNKh, which ranks among the world's 50 largest exhibition centers.
