Three rare white lion cubs were born in the Crimean safari park Taigan, as reported by RT. Lion cubs are just two weeks old and are learning how to walk. As safari park's director Oleg Zubkov said, white lions were found in 1952 - only one pair - and today they are very few in the world.

Scientists do not classify white lions neither as a separate subspecies nor as albinos. The reason for the birth of animals with such coloration is considered to be a genetic disease - leucism.
