MOSCOW, September 01. /ITAR-TASS/. The Photon-M descent capsule No.4 with geckos, drosophila fruit flies, and seeds of plants has landed in the Orenburg Region, an official in the press service of Russia's Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) told ITAR-TASS on Monday.
"The Photon-M capsule landed at a calculated time," the space agency official said.
The Photon-M was launched on July 19, 2014, from the Baikonur cosmodrome. The spacecraft carried geckos, drosophila fruit flies, seeds of plants, microorganisms, as well as 22 packages of scientific instrumentation.
