More than 30,000 Americans had seen Bolshoi Theatre performances within a festival at New York's Lincoln Centre since the first premiere given about ten days ago, the source said.
Tickets for all the performances were sold out in advance. The house was full even in daytime and on working days. Usually, it was so at night performances, said one of American organizers of the theatre tour.
Local critics noted the highest level of the Bolshoi Theatre troupe. The performances were splendid and filling spectators with great emotions. It was a brilliant repertoire the theatre had brought to New York, one of theatre critics said.
The Bolshoi Theatre New York tour will last through July 27.
