MOSCOW, June 20. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia in 2014 will contribute $600,000 to the UN World Food Program.

The program’s official website reports that the government has ordered to allocate funds from the federal budget to make a voluntary contribution of up to $600,000 to the World Food Program Fund to finance the project to support developing countries.

The Russian Foreign Ministry is to inform the World Food Program organization about the decision, and the Finance Ministry will discuss terms and procedures to transfer the donation.
