BERLIN, May 20. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s reliability as a partner is the key factor to continue Russia and Ukraine’s space cooperation, the director general of Russia’s United Rocket and Space Corporation, Igor Komarov, told a news conference at the International Aerospace Exhibition ILA 2014 in Berlin.

He said that Ukraine was a special partner and an integral part of Russia’s space industry supply chain.

“Our cooperation with Ukraine’s Yuzhmash enterprise has not stopped,” Komarov said. “We have contracts in force and we comply fully with our obligations. We hope that these obligations will also be carried out in the following years.”

“The possibility of further space cooperation with Ukraine depends on the fulfilment of this condition,” he added. “It is the main criterion for us for further cooperation and for determining those partners we will work with in the future.”
