CHELYABINSK, March 27. /ITAR-TASS/. A Kasli cast-iron figurine, which the actors of Chelyabinsk Chamber Theater decided to give as a present to Leonardo DiCaprio, started its way to its destination straight on the stage, during festivities on World Theater Day.
Alla Tsypordei, one of the action’s initiators, told ITAR-TASS that the figurine would be passed through “friends in common”. “We have several options of delivery, but now I don’t know which one we will choose,” she said. The activist did not rule out that they would need help of the same people, who were behind the famous series of photos picturing Hollywood actors and directors (including DiCaprio) hold the Kopeyskiy Rabochiy newspaper.
Actors from Southern Urals wanted to support DiCaprio, who was nominated for Academy Awards the 4th time this year as an actor and did not get it again. In the production catalogue of the Kasli factory of art and architectural cast-iron molding, a figurine resembling the Oscar was found. It was an image of a body-builder 24 cm in height and weighing 1.4 kg. The locals named the figurine Ascar and prepared to send it to DiCaprio together with a certificate about awarding him a title of honorary actor of the Chamber Theater.
