YEKATERINBURG, February 27. /ITAR-TASS/. Regional traffic police in the Russian city of Nizhny Tagil is investigating a road accident involving a tank. The press service of the traffic police reports no injured.
The accident happened at an intersection. A tank was heading to a testing site from the Uralvagonzavod factory when it hit a passenger car at the traffic lights.
"Video footage from the site is being examined at the moment," said the press service of traffic police.
In May 2009 executive director of the Uralvagonzavod factory received an official letter with a request to set up barriers along the factory's roads so that armored vehicles couldn't go off route.
