BRUSSELS, January 24. /ITAR-TASS/. The European Commission members have refused to participate in the Winter Olympic Games opening ceremony in Sochi on February 7, Olivier Bailly, spokesman for the European Union, said on Friday morning.

Bailly explained that the EU commissioners invited to the opening ceremony could not be present in Sochi because of busy schedule.
