MOSCOW, January 20. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he was sure that athletes would present a real sports celebration at the Olympic Games in Sochi.
“Norwegians are one of the strongest athletes in winter sports. We’ll wait for the outcome,” Lavrov said after talks with Norwegian counterpart Borge Brende on Monday.
Answering a Norwegian journalist’s question “Who will win?”, Lavrov said, “The best will win.”
“We’ll support our team and you’ll support yours. This is sports and I’m sure that athletes will present a real sports day,” the Russian minister said.
