Russians come in third at bobsled World Cup two-man events in Austria

VIENNA, January 18, 23:32 /ITAR-TASS/. Alexander Zubkov and Dmitry Trunenkov of Russia came in third in the two-man bobsled event at the eight stage of the World Cup in Austria’s Igls on Saturday, January 18.

After two runs, the Russian athletes were third with 1 minute 44 seconds. Steven Holcomb and Steve Langton of the U.S. were first (1 minute 43.72 seconds), followed by Beat Hefti and Thomas Amrhein of Switzerland (1 minute 43.72 seconds).

Another Russian crew - Alexander Kasyanov and Maxim Belugin - were 19th (1 minute 45.38 seconds).
